Greetings. You must wait one year from the date you last lived together (so probably one year from the date he went in jail). Do not try to lie to the court about the date of separation, because then, even if you have a divorce judgment, it can be reversed. Thank you.

How long after your husband is in jail and you want a divorce must you wait? I would say hes been in jail a month so far. But the reasons are horrible and i wanna get rid of him. please help
