Dear Janet:
Thank you for the info…I am confused though, as even though it is great news for me…how does seperate income become marital when land is purchased with the monies?

Dear sun:

Greetings. First of all, the money may not have been separate. Depending on how the property is titled, it would be clearly marital. Thanks

1)Is monthly disability insurance considered income?
2)Is it marital property or seperate?
3) My husband was a dentist receiving a large sum each month for his allergy. His allergy kept him from working as a dentist. He settled with the insurance company and bought land on the water with 90% of it. Is this land marital or seperate?
