Have two questions.

The first is can IM’s between coworkers be supboenaed?

Secondly, if my soon-to-ex gets a loan on a car, will that count as debt to be split between parties during the divorce? In other words, am I responsible for half of the car loan down the road?

You may subpoena email and message records if relevant to your case.

If a loan is procured after the date of separation, it is the separate debt of the party who incurs it.
