Is Prenup agreement necessary with new marriage?

Is a prenuptial agreement really necessary to ensure that I can not loose my home, which was inherited to me 5 years ago. Entering into new marriage soon and wondering about premarital property distribution in the event of a future divorce. Thank You.

Prenuptial agreements are never required, but they can be helpful in some instances.

The house you inherited prior to the marriage is your separate property and it remains your separate property during the marriage.
