Marital Property?

These items may be marital property or may be a gift solely to your husband. It depends on the intention of your cousin when he gave the collectibles to your Husband, did he intend the money your Husband made to be a gift or compensation for selling the items.

My Husband received some collectibles from his cousin. My husband did not pay his cousin for these collectibles,(worth 75 dollars and up, he has about 30 pieces). The were given to my husband on the condition that my husband sell them and when they are sold, my husband is supposed to pay his cousin part of the money.

Are those items considered marital property and is my husband required to give me half of the sale of the items even though my husband never paid for the items? Are those items still considered the property of his cousin?
