More child support when im out of work?

i work as a teacher aide 10 months of the year. ex has business that generates a lot of cash he doesnt report and he lies about how much he makes. he pays poverty level child support for 3 children. when i am unemployed during the summer, can i get an increase in child support for those 10 weeks i am unemployed? its not for lack of trying. i put in 10 applications for jobs but no one wants to hire me short term or train me when i will be returnig to my job in sept.

Your child support can increase during the summer if the father agrees. Otherwise, child support payments each month remain the same. This is because annual income is averaged over the course of 12 months for child support purposes.
