On the radio show today Lee mentioned new child support laws that will go into effect sometime in October. Do know of a website or other resource I can go to to read about them? Thanks~
The child support guidelines are adjusted every 4 years, the numbers are changed based on economic factors and usually do not produce a huge difference in the recommended child support amounts. You may check the AOC website for more information : www.nccourts.org
I’ve been to the site and searched “Child Support” as well as looked a the content supplied by the drop-down menu but am not seeing where the new guidelines are housed. I am only able to find the current guidelines.
The information may come out closer to October.
