Are PSS payments and Alimony the same thing just at different stages of the divorce? Also…are the PSS payments taxable income also? Thanks so much!
Post Separation Support (PSS) continues until the earlier of a termination date, or permanent alimony is granted or denied. The amounts do not have to be the same, and you may be awarded one but not the other.
Do I have to pay Taxes on Post Separation Support? I know that “Alimony” is. Thank you!
