Alienation of Affection and Criminal Conversation
North Carolina is one of the only States to allow a cause of action against a third party for interference in the marital relationship. To succeed on this claim for alienation of affection, the plaintiff must prove that (1) there was genuine affection between the spouses; (2) the spousal affection was alienated; and (3) defendant
Dear feleciaj:
Greetings. Yes, you can likely sue her for criminal conversation and alienation of affection. What are you doing about your husband though? I am not suggesting anything, but just wondering.
I should also say that I think it is brave and honorable that you want to have the children part of your life. That takes a lot of character.

Thanks for your response! Yes I’m trying to be the big person here because he and I have 4 childrens 20, 18 , 8, 8mths but he is definitily paying for his mistake’s…He knows he has 3 stricks and he’s out! The other women I’m talking about set out since 1997 to trap my husband…Get this she was the one who always call me and told me about the affair because she would threaten him that if he didn’t do this or do that that she’ll call me and tell me about the affair, the children who are 3, adn 6 years old…Now the last time in jul 05 once again she calls me because he broke it off,he told her I was pregnant. She had given him an altermative to leave me or else…I thought alination of affection the spouse had to leave the home? And the Crimnal Conversation do he have to also had left the house? This women knew we were marry due to the store she work at we had an account there, so we had to go there to pay our bills.I swear this man was so good at covering his a** I didn’t know anything, because he kept it all good at home, the sex, he cook the whole 9 yards…

My husband of 20 years had an affair that resulted in 2 kids…well I stay and we now are seeking visitation from the other wowmen…She is stating that I threaten her during the first conversation in which she herself called me and told me that they were having the affair, and her who cheated with my husband. What rights do I have and do I have anything to say about this women is apparantly still bitter, angry but is slandering my name…If she felt threaten then why not take a warrant or something out…Is there anything I can sue her for what she has done to my family…
