If you have a separation agreement, you are free to see who you want regardless of how long it’s been. But keep in mind that in NC adultry is illegal so if you have not gotten an absolute divorce, having a sexual relationship with someone other than your husband is illegal and could effect chances for alimony. Until the absolute divorce, I would consider what is at stake before you decide about that part of it. Otherwise…dating…should be able to do pretty much as you did before you were married. If there are children involved it’s a little more complicated but that’s another post.
