Separation Agreements Null an d Void?

Dear Monika1:

Greetings. If you and your spouse signed the separation agreement in front of a notary public, then it is generally binding, regardless of how angry you were. If you have questions about the validity of the separation agreement, take it to an attorney. Best of luck.

How legally binding is a separation agreement my spouse and I drew up on our own and I signed in anger?
