Acceptance of Service and Waiver

If my spouse signs the “Acceptance of Service and Waiver of Right to Further Answer”, how long does the divorce take to be final?
And does that get filed with the original papers? (Complaint, Summons, etc…)

The acceptance of service and waiver should be filed after the defendant is served. Once filed the Plaintiff may then set the matter for hearing right away and the divorce will be issued at the hearing.

Does the defendant need to present and file the papers with the clerk before a divorce hearing can be set? Can the plaintiff take the forms (signed and notarized) to court house for the defendant??

You should not file the acceptance of service and waiver for the defendant.
