Alimony and dependent spouse refusing to work

My STBX wife has been a stay at home mom for the last 8 years. She has a bachelors degree and was working up until our second child was born. Now that all of our children are in school she has refused to go back to work. We are currently separated and will be filing for divorce soon. Could the potential income that she could be earning be enforced in calculating child support and/or alimony obligations?

Yes, income could be imputed, but that is at the discretion of the judge.
