Alimony, quit claim and divorce question

If you have a signed agreement that spells out the terms for alimony, but there is no quit claim, can your ex try to get more alimony if you are not yet divorced? How about if you are divorced already?

A quitclaim is a deed that deals with property.

A separation agreement that specifies what alimony is would normally contain a waiver to future support claims.

If you are already divorced no alimony claim can be pursued.

How about if you are not yet divorced but your signed agreement does not have such a waiver?

If there is no language regarding a bar to future claims support could be pursued through the courts.
