Can I Date or Just See Someone?

Hello,

I am separated from my wife. She has NOT signed a separation agreement yet, but the day I moveed out does that count as being legally separated? I live in my own place. We have 8 more months before we can legally file for divorce. Can I date or just got out with other women during this long dreaded wait?

You may date and associate with whomever you chose, and doing so is not illegal, however adultery, (engaging in sexual acts with someone other than your spouse) is still a crime in North Carolina.
