Changing joint custody agreement

I have a joint custody agreement with my child’s father that was drawn up in mediation and approved by a judge over 7 years ago. The docuement states that each parent has 50% custody but now my child is being coerced by his father into thinking he should live with his father during the school week and only spend every other weekend with me (his mom). My child is only 10 and wants to be with both of his parents. My ex lives closer to the school, is re-married and makes about 3 times the amount I make. If he takes me to court, will I lose my joint custody (only see him every other weekend)?

I cannot predict what a judge will do in anyone case. I can however say that unless your ex can prove there has been a substantial change in circumstances affecting the child, he cannot move to change custody.
