Child Support/ DSS

Tomorrow I will attend cout to go through the process of having DSS handle my child support. My ex-husband is currently 11 months past due, a little over $8000. I have spend many hours and dollars with emails and faxes and phone calls between our lawyers with no action. What can I expect tomorrow? Is there a chance I would be called to the stand? Any idea as to what I may expect? Thank you so much.

It’s more likely that your ex-husband would be called to testify than you if the issue on the court calendar is a show cause for his arrears and non-payment of child support. It’s also possible that your ex-husband and the child support agent will be able to work out a payment schedule for his arrears and monthly obligation without having any testimony.
