Co own home but husband moved out do we split HOA dues?

We have been separated for 7 months and the HOA dues bill had his name on it so I would give him the bill. He has not paid it. So because I live in the marital home they are coming to me to pay it. Since we co own the house shouldn’t it be split? What about insurance on the house?

Until the marital home is divided in the equitable distribution process, you are both responsible for the expenses for the marital residence, including insurance, taxes, HOA dues, and mortgage if the mortgage is in both names. The HOA bill can be divided equally now, but there is no separation agreement with equitable distribution terms or no equitable distribution court order in place to require this.

One of you must pay the bill now and try to get reimbursement through equitable distribution.
