Deposition

If you want to file a deposition on your spouse. When do you file it on your case. After the interrogatory?

Depositions are part of the discovery process, you can depose a party at any time after the law suit has been filed. Strategically, you may chose to wait until the interrogatories have been answered before you depose. Once you have the requested documentation and answers to your interrogatories you can use these things during your deposition. However, when it comes to discovery and especially depositions, I would highly encourage you to seek legal representation rather than represent yourself.

Can I record the deposition and type myself and submit to court to save money? Or do I need to pay someone to come and record.

The rules of civil procedure require a court reporter be present at a deposition. That person is required to administer the oath.
