What is the ruling regarding the return of diamond engagement & wedding rings and diamond earings?
Is this a negotiable item or set item? Can this be used in lieu of monies owed to me or not?
The engagement ring is the separate property of the wife, as it was a gift given to her prior to marriage. Wedding rings and other jewelry given during the marriage is marital property.
