DIY separation agreement

My stbx and I went to mediation twice and were in agreement but as time went on we found we were no longer in agreement on several key points. We’ve worked together finally on those points and are once again in agreement. Our mediator wrote up a “memorandum of understanding” which I have modified with our new terms. Can we both just sign this document and have it notorized? I did have an attorney review it to ensure it was okay, but neither of us have any more money to allocate to legal services and we wonder if we have to have this document translated into legal terminology by a lawyer, or if we can just sign it and be done. Is there any specific language we need to include for it to be binding?

If you sign (and have both parties signatures notarized) the document will be legally valid and binding.
