My husband, the one who wants the divorce, is currently living in California. We both lived and had our separation papers done in North Carolina. I still live in NC.If he wants to file can he do so in CA, or does he need to file here in NC?
I cannot give advice on California law because I’m not licensed to practice there. If he doesn’t live in NC but you do, he can subject himself to this state for jurisdiction purposes to get the divorce granted.
