Does the division of property have to be spelled out in the Separation Agreement? Can it just be done at the time of the divorce?

ED doesn’t have to be spelled out in a separation agreement. You can file a separate claim for ED before your divorce is finalized, but it is often less expensive and easier to do in an agreement. Once your divorce is finalized though, all of your rights to an ED are estopped.
