Does his debt become mine

Dear torrie72:

Greetings. I am assuming that your husband paid on the debt throughout the marriage, and accumulated new debt during the marriage as well? If that is the case, then you are responsible for half of te debt which he created during the marriage. Also, you may be able to get some credit for the pre-marital debt that he paid during the marriage. Thank you.
