Does my partner's income count?

I’m filling out all of the financial worksheets, and I am wondering if my current partner’s income is supposed to count? I would assume yes since we both contribute to my son’s life/style; additionally I couldn’t afford the life I have on my own. Additionally, my bank account is in both my and my partner’s name.

However we are not married nor are we legally bound in any other sense (no bills in both names, etc).

For the purposes of child support, your partner’s income DOES NOT count unless he/she has legally adopted for child.

The other person’s income does not affect the amount of child support you receive.
