Grey Divorce

If you are divorcing after you are both on social security (and one with a pension income) does the spouse with the smaller income get alimony or are we just looking at division of assets?

It’s possible to get alimony but it may be a more difficult as it depends on the exact amount of income that each spouse receives, whether one spouse has the ability to pay alimony and whether one spouse has the need for alimony, etc.
