Hearing for PSS

Hello!

On the docket it says this :
PEREMPTORY SETTING: Defendant: Motion in the cause (PSS), Show cause order;
1 hour

Since I have not heard from my attorney in 6 weeks, I need to know what this means… we were supposed to
go to court Oct 27 for show cause (since he is wayyy behind on PSS & was ordered to pay mortgage- house forecloses in 3 weeks) … but instead sat in hallway all day, my attorney spoke w his back in chambers (nothing was accomplished). So this time I notice it says : Show cause ORDER… And Peremptory setting… Please help explain.

Thanks!
