I’ve been seperated for awhile and live in the marital home and have been paying for everything. The house has been on the market without any bites. Ex is not willing to come down in price or to share in any of the maintenance of the house and willing to wait as long as it takes. Both names are on on everything.
I am trying to figure out what my options are since I’m being kept ‘hostage’ in the home. What are the legal options? Is the ex responsible for maintenance? Can a price adjustment be forced?
Should I just move out? Thank you.
