Marital property?

Dear llee7448:

Greetings. What source of funds was used to build the fuel docks? It sounds to me like you may have a mixed asset, but with such a short marriage, I doubt it. Thanks

Married for 28 months. No pre-nuptial signed. All property owned by husband prior to marriage and not in his personal name, but set up in llc’s. During marriage, fuel docks were built at this marina, our home, and the value increased. Prior to marriage, 2 million - now being sold for 4 million. Would the increase in value be considered marital property, after debt is paid and subject to 50% distribution?
