ok so i was married last april in Mexico…my husband and i were very independent prior to our marriage and we have remained that way but i am learning that he has a lot of money issues INCLUDING oweing the IRS LOTS of money!! I had to file married filling seperately this year b/c if i filed with him i would have ended up forfieting my return so i got hit hard on my return % …anyway, i’m thinking this is fraud, no?? Also, since we were not married in NC, do we still have to go by NC divorce laws or can we do something else quicker?
