I am currently separated from my wife. She is dating and has been dating for sometime now. We are past the year and a day mark.
We are both on the deed to the house and she is currently having him over. It is my understanding that this is legal. I know of a couple who is separated or divorced. She found out he was seeing someone and she was able to get a document or have the court say this woman was not allowed to come over to the home because her name was on the deed? Do I have any say so in this matter? Thanks
Unfortunately, there’s not much you can do about this. Since you are out of the house, she can have anyone over that she chooses. You’re still on the deed, but she’s in actual possession of the house. There’s that old saying that possession is 9/10ths of the law, and it is relevant here.
