Nasty divorce question

I am going thru a nasty divorce. My wife is going for alimony, half of all my funds, and the house. The house is paid for. She paid more on the house than me. Both names are on the title. I paid all household bills for 10 years since she paid more on the house. I even let her quit work for the past 5 years to show my gratitude for what she did for the house purchase. Now she is fighting to keep the house for herself only. Am I entitled to half the house. It is paid for. Thanks for any info.

Yes, you are entitled to one-half the value of the house if it was acquired during the marriage and is marital property.

Your wife may be able to keep the house for herself, but you will have to be credited for one-half of its value. This can be by buying you out or by you keeping other assets of equal value.
