Hello…my wife and I of 3 years, with one 2 and a half year old boy recently decided to separate (mutually)…we are planning on trying to handle everything ourselves, because we can’t really afford lawyers…my main concern is that I’m having to pay off credit card debt that we have accumulated, because I’m the only one who worked, and I’m worried that those type of expenses wouldn’t be considered if we had to get a judge to decide how much I should pay…my wife is being reasonable though…she said she will take less than 500.00 which is probably a pretty good deal…any advice is welcome.
