Other Parties Attny Withdraws Again! What Now?

This seems to be the pattern of the other party to not pay their attny and they withdraw. This leaves our case to drag out again. 7 years now! I have filed everything one can possibly file including 2 motification of custodys, 1 being heard over 4 months ago and the judge still did not give a ruling or send a new order. We are left in limbo waiting year after year. Now what do I file to expedite this new order and custody arrangement? What can I file against the Judge to move this along? the Judge hasn’t ruled since last trial 4 months ago and holding off on scheduling a date for my pending motion and the new motion I just filed 6 weeks ago. I can’t understand how this is allowed.

You may be able to check with the judge’s case coordinator on the status of the custody order.

You can also try filing a motion for entry of order and setting it for a hearing date with the judge.
