I have 12+ years in the military and am looking at re-entry to complete retirement. I have been divorced for eight years and no provision was made for retirement dispersement at the time of my divorce. Upon completion of my 20 years will my ex-wife have any claim to my retirement benefits?
If there was no provision for division of the military retirement before the final divorce decree, or an currently pending action, then she has no claim.
