Hi Erin - thanks to this forum I was able to prepare my sister for her PSS hearing today and the judgement is in her favor. Here is my question…what should the Motion for Judgemnt contain? Also my sister gave me the impression that her soon to be ex must sign the motion also…is this correct? If he does not sign in the time allowed, is an appeal automatically filed for him? Can he appeal? Thanks again to you and this great website!
That is great news! If the ruling was in her favor, there is no motion to be filed. The judge should issue the order if your sister is unrepresented, neither party needs to sign the order. There is no appeal for PSS.
