I got pregnant during my separation my ex husband is not the father. I want to add my child’s biological father to her birth certificate. Can I add her biological father without going through a lawyer?
No, you will likely have to establish paternity through a court proceeding since your husband will be considered the legal father.

So I can’t do a affidavit of parentage?
And my exhusband being on the run they can’t find him
The affidavit is acceptable for taking over financial responsibility for the child. I am unaware of its affect for a birth certificate.
