Printed text messages

I just realized that my cell phone has bluetooth printing capability. I’ve read that text messages that are still “on the phone” can be used in court, but can printed text messages be used as well, if I can print out the messages? As it is, I can’t change phones without risking these being gone forever. If I can print them, and they would be useful if things ever progressed to court (custody issues), can I use printed text messages to prove some of the things my ex has said? I know without proof that I can use in court, she will deny everything.

You can either print them out, or you can keep them saved onto your phone and the judge can read them directly off the phone.
