The response posted above is based upon the limited factual information made available and is not intended as a full and complete response to the question. The only reliable manner to obtain complete and adequate legal advice is to consult with an attorney, fully explain your situation, and allow the attorney sufficient opportunity to research the applicable law and facts required to render an accurate opinion. Thank you for your answer.

Do you mean that I have to ask if it would be O.K. to video tape the parent who is entering MY home on supervised visitation, when I don’t trust this person? If this is a yes, than I will hide the camera. But this parent WILL be taped. Can this be used in court, without the parents permission?

Thanks again!

Dear Tammy:

Greetings. I will not research this issue at this time, but I will let you know that I think it is a bad idea and that you will not earn bonus points with the judge, especially if you do not get any bad behavior on tape. Best of luck.

Hello;

Is it legal to tape record and video tape supervised visitation? Can this be used in court as evidences?

Thanks!
