Videotaping without parties' knowledge

I’ve read on this forum that audiotaping a spouse, even if they’re unaware they’re being taped is legal–
can such tapes be used in court proceedings such as ED or CS/CC Hearings? Does the same apply to videotaping clandestinely? (i.e., legal and admissible as evidence)?

                                                                                                     Thanks much

NC is a one party consent state regarding audio recordings. This means so long as one party consents to a recording (even the one recording it) the recording is legal and admissible. Video recordings, depending on context may also be admissible in court, depending on the nature of the tape, and how it was obtained.
