My husband and I have been living in NC however he still has a PA drivers liscence and that is where we were married. Can we file for a divorce under PA laws or do we have to file under NC since we both live here? My question is what determines residency when filing for a separation and divorce?
In order to file for divorce in North Carolina you must have been living in state for the previous six months.
