Response to Motion to Modify Support Order

I don’t think you are going to find the forms you are looking for online. You will need to file a response to the motion and if you choose not to be represented then you should simply do your best to file a document that meets the legal requirements. Maybe someone out there knows where you can find what you are seeking.

Sorry not to be of more help.

The response posted above is based upon the limited factual information made available and is not intended as a full and complete response to the question. The only reliable manner to obtain complete and adequate legal advice is to consult with an attorney, fully explain your situation, and allow the attorney sufficient opportunity to research the applicable law and facts required to render an accurate opinion. The basic information provided above is intended as a public service but a full discussion with an attorney should be undertaken before taking any action.

When you mention file a response, do I have to appear in court to file or just send in the proper paperwork?? I appreciate your reply and am awestruck with the amount of messages that have been posted since yesterday evening.

You should file the appropriate paperwork and then, when noticed, appear in court.

Good luck.

I wish I would have found this forum sooner. I’ve been stressing over this for the last couple of days. I received a motion to modify support order in the mail from one of my child’s mother in columbus county. Intestingly enough it doesn’t list any of the healthcare premiums I pay and any of the child support I pay to another woman who resides in wake county. Also the other support I pay to the woman in wake is done between the two of us so the $500 I send her I have money order receipts for from the last couple of years.

I have been looking for documentation for a response to the motion for north carolina but am unable to locate. I want to take care of this as soon as possible before I end up like some of the people in this forum in which they are unable to pay their own bills. Can someone provide me a link or number where I can obtain the necessary forms for a response?? I’m willing to discuss my situation with one of the Rosen lawyers, but I currently live in PA.
