I understand that as a pro se advocate, I cannot request attorney fees. Can I still request sanctions from the Plaintiff as seen in Rule 11 and do I need to file a civil motion to be awarded attorney fees that would be applied to the attorney fees I owe. Also are sanctions also in the form of a reprimand from the Bench?
You may file a Rule 11 motion if the same is warranted. Sanctions can be in the form of a reprimand, or fines, and are within the judge’s discretion.
