Separate bank accounts considered marital property?

I have a separate bank account (my name only), and my ex-spouse accessed it through his paypal account and withdrew $2,000. Is that legal? I had given him permission to pay for some things out of my bank account (thru his paypal acct) when we were still together. We have been living apart since the end of July and he withdrew the money the end of August.

Is this worth fighting for? The money in the account was acquired “during” our marriage. So is it considered marital property?

While the money in the account is martial property what your spouse did was sneaky and should out you on guard in the future. Change all of your account information so he cannot surprise you again.
