If it’s just happened once, you may want to try to talk or email your ex about getting a makeup visit first. The courts usually look favorably on trying to resolve issues between yourselves.
But maybe document this and any other missed visits in case you end up having to go to court later down the road.
At this point, it may not be worth your time and effort and money to pursue one missed visit in court.
Will you be returning to court to try and get a permanent order entered? If so it may be better to wait until that hearing and address all these issues then.

How hard is it to show cause on a single missed visit? My soon to be exwife violated a temporary seperation order by not letting me have my daugher on my weekend? I didnt find out till a week later that she took her to the doctors at 445 pm and my pick up time is at 6pm. I recieved a call from a friend of hers telling me not to come to greenville to pick her up since she wouldnt be there. I found out through my insurance carrier that she was given a prescription for a urinary track infection, which she had 1 6 months ago and I took care of her when she had that so there is no medical excuse to keep her from me. My soon to be ex wife is trying everything to keep me from my daughter and me out of her life. Any help and or direction would be appreciated.
