Temporary Alimony ?'s

Dear justdonald:

Greetings. 1. Generally no, she cannot obtain alimony if she has a higher income. 2. Yes, of course your income has a bearing on how much alimony she would be awarded. If she makes more than you, no alimony. Best of luck.

Ex is wanting Temporary alimony. I have taken on over half of credit card debt. She is getting the house. Infedelity on my part may also be a factor.

Question:

  1. Can she still get alimony eventhough she has a higher income?
  2. Does my income have any bearing on the amount of alimony she is awarded?
