I am wondering if either spouse is permitted to set the court date or if the one who filed the Complaint must set it. For example, if he files the Complaint, I’m served, and I file a Waiver of my rights to the 30-day waiting period, may I also set the court date? I don’t want him to wait the extra 30 days before setting the date. Thank you for your advice!
