Whose house is it?

Sorry for the delayed response.

A home purchased with separate property can be characterized as both your separate property and a marital asset. While the home can remain your separate asset, the marital estate benefits from the increased value in the home by contributing marital income to paying down the mortgage balance.

I bought my home before my husband and I married. We have since refinanced and his signature is on the papers. As far as the house goes, is it considered separate property since it was originally purchased by myself alone?
