A divorce with a UK citizen

I have been living in NC for 15 years for now. I married a woman from Manchester 10 years ago and she moved out from the US soon after we broke up in 2015. She lived in my apartment and we didn’t share any property, however we haven’t signed any separation agreement or other papers. Now I have a FedEx notification that there are papers from onlinedivorcer.co.uk that I should sign and send back to my wife. I am interested if these procedure would be finalized in the UK, what are my actions to be divorced in the USA? Should I hire a divorce lawyer or how I can reach her, if she doesn’t answer the phone or emails?

A legal and valid divorce in the UK will be legal and valid in NC and the US. You would not need to have a separate divorce in NC.
