Could you please refresh my memory about the statue of limitations on alienation of affection? Bit of history on this is that a friend divorced her husband back, I believe 6/2003. My friend filed for alienation of affection from him because he left her for his high school girlfriend, not me. But I was involved with him about 6 mos prior to their seperation in May 2002 until Oct 2002. She informed me that if I left my husband within so many years that she could come back and sue me for her divorce. I am still married to my husband & do not plan on leaving him, but would just like to know if something did happen, exactly how many years after my friends divorce can she come back and sue me?
